Conference Venue
The conference will take place at the Physics Museum of the University of Naples Federico II, located in the historic Via Mezzocannone district, in the heart of Naples’ university area.
The Physics Museum
Founded to preserve and enhance the historical scientific heritage of the University, the Physics Museum houses an extraordinary collection of around 700 historical instruments, many of which date back to the Bourbon Physics Cabinet.
Among the most notable pieces are devices crafted by renowned English, French, and German instrument makers, as well as rare prototypes created by highly skilled Neapolitan artisans who served both the University and the Royal House of Bourbon.
The museum also preserves instruments designed by Macedonio Melloni, including a condenser electroscope and astatic galvanometers, as well as devices created by Professor Luigi Palmieri.
This rich heritage makes the venue not only a place of scientific relevance but also a cultural landmark that reflects centuries of research, craftsmanship, and innovation.
