We are thrilled to announce that the 2nd EPNOE Workshop on Analytics of Polysaccharides will be held in Naples (Italy), on July 2-3, 2026. The workshop will be hosted by the University of Naples Federico II, under the auspices of the European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence.
The workshop aims to facilitate impactful discussions and networking among researchers and experts working on analytical aspects of polysaccharides. The workshop will have a special focus on NMR and EPR techniques, with keynote lectures covering both their basic concepts and applications to the structural characterisation of polysaccharides.
The workshop will also host oral communications on the following topics:
- NMR and EPR of polysaccharides
- Analytical studies on natural polysaccharides
- Interactions polysaccharides-ligands through NMR
- Polysaccharides-structure activity relationships
The workshop will highlight the challenges and future trends in polysaccharides and applied technologies.
The workshop is also an opportunity to visit Naples, one of the most fascinating cities in southern Italy, famous for its history, art, and vibrant street life. The historic center, where the workshop venue is located, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, full of narrow streets, beautiful churches, and lively squares.
